Pair the Iron-E with portable solar to replenish energy during daylight. Solar can extend runtime, reduce generator use and, in suitable conditions, support long-duration operation.
Where longer runtime is required, the Iron-E can be integrated with a compatible external thermal generator. Its dry-contact control can automatically request generator start when the battery reaches a defined threshold.
The PESS IRON-E is a 10 kWh LFP mobile battery generator with an 8 kW rated output and up to 10 kW maximum output. It is designed to work as a standalone battery, with solar, or as part of a hybrid system with an external generator.
For higher-demand deployments, up to six IRON-E units can be coupled in parallel using PESS coupling technology, providing a tailored system of up to 50 kW and 60 kWh.
For longer-duration jobs: a compatible external thermal generator can be used as a recharge source. The IRON-E's dry-contact output can automatically request generator start at a defined battery threshold, helping maintain continuous supply while limiting generator runtime.
For cleaner operation: the battery can supply the load without combustion, meaning no exhaust fumes, smoke or fuel smell at the customer site during battery operation.
